PSC15: Birthday Embossing Resist

Hi Everyone! Welcome back to another challenge at The Perfect Sentiment.

We have a fabulous sponsor this week. Sarah, from the DT and her personal blog, My Little Somethings is providing us with another fabulous giveaway.
This fabulous prize package is valued at $15 and is limited to U.S. participants.

Now, on to the challenge...

The Challenge: create a card with a sentiment for a birthday(Make sure your sentiment is on the front of your card)

The Twist: use the embossing resist technique on your card. If you are not familiar with this technique here is a tutorial on SCS: Embossing Resist

I haven't use this technique is years so when Sami suggested it as part of our challenge I cringed. However, I am absolutely blown away by what the team created with it and I think you will be too!

  6. Was definitely challenged by this technique but new things do that to me. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone to try new things & am learning. Took me a couple tries to get what I'm entering. Need to always make sure the stamp image has enough of the embossing ink & powder in all the places for heating and need more practice with the Distress Ink and smoothing with paper towel. Would like more tips on this technique.
